Halloween

Alex is so cute playing video games.
I taught my class a lesson about zombies today. Well, it was actually about musical vocabulary necessary to master academic language, but we made it about zombies. We also did "Bear Hunt," the same one my college choir director, Mr. P, always did on Halloween. The girls (I have an all-girl high school choir class) went crazy.
I was really hoping for some Trick-Or-Treaters. We are all ready with candy. I saw a girl in a Belle costume outside, but she didn't come to our door :(. I felt like it might be kind of creepy for me to go outside and say, "Hey, little girl! Why don't you come over here? Want some candy??"

Time to keep working on my paper.

PS I just came to the realization that we will never get it all together. Never. Not even in Heaven. At that point, God's got it all together. We can never pick ourselves up out of our rottenness.
