Beer and writing a paper while I should be at Bible study, on blogspot.com. Not sure what I am doing. Tomorrow is Halloween. I think I will be a cat in polka-dot pants. How much of our lives is spent in useless pursuits? Like, really. So I'm writing this 20-page paper, due on Wednesday. It pretty much takes a series of teaching lessons and breaks them down to the nth degree, to such an extent that no human brain could possibly think about it all while teaching. So really, it's an exercise in talking blah-di-di-blah blah about an experience, using lots of academic language and terminology. It is analysis, and then analysis of analysis. Planning, and then planning based on that planning. Someone could have dug a hole to China in the time I have spent staring at my pages.

I am going to a place I will call "The Church" for church, and it's pretty much the best place ever. I completely and totally love it. Except that the bright lights at the front of the church mean that I have to wear a baseball cap. Even today, when I looked pretty put-together in a skirt, sweater, scarf and dress shoes- my baseball cap made it so much more casual.

 I don't know if we will be able to go down to visit my parents for Thanksgiving- not likely, given that I have to finish a huge project, and Alex will probably only get Thanksgiving day off from his work training for Alex's Job.

My heart is always searching for an outlet. Here's one! Let's see how long this river runs.
